Compact cameras offer qualified features like lightweight, easy to carry and qualified whose presence further enlivens the market.
The difference from the ‘traditional’ compact camera, a compact
camera which is positioned in the high-end (some of them carrying the
larger sensor) is more complete manual control, a lens with a wider
opening, support for RAW formats as well as a number of other
advantages.
But unlike mirrorless cameras, such camera lens can not be exchanged.
The following cameras are targeting users who want a qualified tool but
do not want to be bothered by a large body of DSLR’s.
Indeed, this premium camera is many but we will discuss here only 6 of them:
1. Fujifilm FinePix X10
One
interesting thing as a glimpse of this camera is a design that has a
retro touch. Continuing the tradition of the X series range, the
Fujifilm FinePix X10 is also positioned in the premium class.
It has f/2-2.8 lens aperture numbers that accompany EXR CMOS sensor
sized 2/3 inch, making this camera above the level of the average
ordinary compact cameras.
The shutter speed in burst mode reaches 7 fps at full resolution.
When the resolution is lowered to 6 MP, X10 can do ‘shot’ 10 fps.
2. Olympus ZX-1
When
compared to the X10, Olympus ZX-1 body is smaller, the hall with its
sensor. What interesting about this camera is the wide lens aperture
which has the f/1.8-2.5. For those who want a great effect, or who
frequently shoot in low light conditions, it is very profitable.
The scene P, A, S, M modes, shutter speed 60-1/2000 seconds and LCD
size 3-inch OLED becomes the next briefing. When released, the camera
lens has a focal range of 28-112 mm with 4x optical zoom. This camera
also supports RAW file format.
3. Ricoh GR Digital IV
Wearing
Hybrid AF, Ricoh GRD IV allows users to more quickly get the focus. The
maker concocts this camera with top quality in a compact body.
Ricoh GR Digital IV displays anti shake CCD sensor size of 1/1.7 inch
10 MP with f/1.9 lens which has a fixed 28 mm focal range. These device
is completed with hot shoe, pop-up flash. One unfortunate thing is, the
absence of full HD video recording on this device.
4. Canon G1X
Responding
to the invasion of mirrorless cameras, Canon released a camera in the
series that has a large sensor G1X that competes with DSLR lineup.
Manual controls embedded will pamper those who want to level up from
compact cameras ‘normal’ but do not want to be bothered with the large
camera body of DSLR class.
No doubt, with many excellent features of the flyer that came, even
this camera has a price that is almost equivalent DSLR ‘entry-level’.
Key specs: 14.3 MP resolution, up to 12,800 ISO, image ratio of 1:1,
5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 5 Digic processor, support for RAW format, 28-112
mm focal range, aperture f/2.8 – f/5.8 and a shutter speed up to 1/4000
sec.
5. Samsung EX2F
Aperture
f/1.4 (the widest aperture in its class so far), combined with the ISO
to 12,800, full HD 1080p video recording and features WiFi, a camera can
not be refuted if this camera is in the position of a compact camera
with pro features.
Also look at the size CMOS sensor 1/1, 7 inch with a resolution of
12.4 MO and AMOLED display on the LCD as much and wrapped in a magnesium
alloy material
6. Sony Cybershot RX100
The lenses are not as fast as Samsung EX2F, but the RX 100 (f/1.8-4.9) has a larger sensor which is 1 inch.
The resolution reaches 20.2 MP by the ISO of up to 25 600. Sony
claims the sensor has about 4 times larger than the sensor in a
traditional point-and-shoot.
Sony is targeting users who already have a DSLR camera but looking at the ‘second’ camera with super quality yet compact body.
In addition to the cameras have been mentioned, there are again some other top compact cameras like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, Lumix DMC-LX7 (just released) and the Canon G12.
